Why Help people
on the Medicaid waiver waiting list?

  • Many are isolated from their community
  • Some are without appropriate healthcare
  • Many want to improve personal skills
  • Way too many are homeless
  • Most have no case management support
  • Many exhibit anxiety and are at risk of assault and exploitation
  • Some aren't able to read important mail
  • Many are aging and alone without family or friends
  • Families and caregivers are greatly in need of respite

What We Accomplish 

  • Once connected, we do our best to keep in touch throughout the year with those who are without the benefit of Medicaid Waiver service which would include a Community Center Board assigned case manager.

  • Partnering with Colorado's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, we provide job placement services and job coaching for varying levels of skill throughout the Denver metro area.

  • We assist people with applying for things like Access A Ride, subsidized housing, Social Security benefits, and Home Community Based Services through Innovage Lonngterm Care Options.

  • We do our best to focus on community inclusion in all aspects of support and services.

  • With the help of Community support and volunteers, we advocate for "natural" inclusion and the right to affordable and necessary services for the purpose of health and safety.

We integrate art to encourage creative outlets and expression.
We use a sustainable business model, 
operating with reasonable
and limited overhead expenses.

We do without office space and related expenses since we access public library study rooms for free, along with reasonably priced meeting rooms at rec. centers and neighborhood businesses.
